- Holidays free
- No nights or weekends
- Hours: always between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM weekdays only.
- Confirm with clients their appointments.
- Follow the PT's plan of care for each patient.
- Massage and stretch muscles where necessary.
- Set up therapy equipment.
- Sanitize the therapy area.
- Lift or move patients.
- Monitor patients during sessions.
- Guide patients through exercises where necessary.
- Brief patients and their families on after-therapy care.
- Write daily progress notes and submit them the same day as performing the visit.
- Participate in occasional staff meetings, special trainings and daily huddle call
- Certification from a Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Valid physical therapist assistant license for the state of Maryland.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients.
- Computer literacy skills.
- Drive to continually learn new treatment techniques.
- Driver's license and own car in good shape with proof of auto insurance.
- BLS certified.
- An earnest desire to contribute to our client's recovery experience at home.
