Job summary
The Intelligence Analyst is responsible for performing work related to the collection collation analysis and dissemination of criminal intelligence and criminal data to be utilized by the Sheriff s Office.Criminal intelligence analysis involves gathering information from multiple sources evaluating it verifying its accuracy and transforming it into viable intelligence to assist law enforcement in preventing crimes making arrests and gathering essential evidence for prosecution.
The Intelligence Analyst should possess at a minimum a degree from an accredited college or university; and/or two years of analytical work in a law enforcement setting or related field with exposure to spreadsheets and automated record keeping systems;
