Summary:
Operates as a key member of the health care team using the nursing process.
Clinical skills and leadership to direct, provide, and evaluate age specific patient care according to the department's scope of service.
Responsibilities:
Utilizes the nursing process:

Changes in the plan of care are made as the patient progresses to promote positive outcome with improvement in health status.

EDUCATION
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
EXPERIENCE
None required for beginning nurse/new graduates. Requirements for specialty areas are defined as 1-2 years of experience in specialty area or related clinical experience.
LICENSURE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION
Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina; BLS certification, ACLS certification within one year.
