    Description

    Branch Product Manager I

    We are seeking a Branch Product Manager to coordinate quotes, negotiate pricing with suppliers and contract manufacturers, drive and promote key supplier lines, and facilitate product training for our Arizona branch.

    1. Coordinates quotes by working with sales staff, suppliers, and corporate Product department to develop a price for product that will be competitive and offer the largest gross profit margin.
    2. Provides technical product knowledge to branch employees by sharing information directly with Sales and support employees and facilitating informative monthly product training that keeps the branch up-to-date on current technology and industry trends they need to know to sell products.
    3. Drives and promotes key supplier lines by obtaining maximum number of exclusive competitive advantages from suppliers.
    4. Gains information about the market by utilizing all possible sources such as sales reps, networking, and trade publications.
    5. Develops relationships with supplier's factory representatives to achieve most favored status and avert and solve problems.
    6. Provides product support by responding with a sense of urgency to issues while utilizing problem-solving skills to help resolve pricing, accounting, and inventory management issues.
    7. Maintains cost database by adding, changing, deleting, cost, and ship debit information with accuracy.
    8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years' experience in a related role; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous sales and electronics industry experience is also preferred.

    What we look for:

    • Possesses excellent knowledge of purchasing, inventory control, gross profit analysis, market, and vendor analysis, and economics of distribution.
    • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications at the intermediate level.
    • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, including excellent presentation skills.
    • Possesses strong analytical, problem-solving, and organization skills.
    • Ability to type 40 words per minute preferred.
