    Description
    Leader in their industry, our exciting global SaaS education client seeks a contract Application Analyst. This is a remote position.

    In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining SaaS applications, ensuring their availability, security, and access management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and support end-users in utilizing SaaS tools effectively. Overall, the Application Analyst acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology experts, ensuring that IT solutions effectively meet the organization's needs and contribute to its overall success.

    Contract Duration: 4-months

    Required Skills & Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (BA/BS), along with a minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in analytical roles with increasing responsibilities, or an equivalent level of experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to work cohesively as part of a team, actively contribute to group discussions, and support colleagues in achieving shared goals.
    • Possesses good communication skills to coordinate, resolve queries with stakeholders and maintain professional interactions with stakeholders and other team members.
    • Must have strong analytical skills to develop plans and reports, as well as to provide recommendations.
    • Must be able to assess request from business effectively and translate to business case.
    • Ensure the consistent meeting of deadlines, commitments, and expectations pertaining to team projects, tasks, communication timelines, and adherence to policies.
    • Contribute to a culture of teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Smartsheet, Lucidchart, MS Office applications, and various other productivity tools.

      What You Will Be Doing

      Daily Responsibilities
      • Develop, author, and continuously maintain comprehensive documentation for SaaS applications, covering configurations, integrations, user access administration, and visual representations.
      • Manage application licenses, subscriptions, renewals, and compliance to ensure efficient use and cost-effectiveness. Perform monthly audits to remove users who haven't signed in within the specified policy timeframe.
      • Update the application inventory to accommodate the frequent changes in our dynamic inventory, while ensuring that the categories accurately represent the client's application landscape.
      • Collaborate with the IT Service Management (ITSM) administrator to create tickets for access requests or application changes.
      • Evaluate the client's software portfolio to pinpoint prospects for streamlining, standardizing, or retiring redundant or underutilized applications.
      • Collaborate with the application owner to enforce security protocols to ensure compliance with the organization's security standards. This involves administering user authentication and access controls established by the Information Technology team.
      • Conducting monthly assessments of applications to ensure that access management has been correctly, during the access management process.
      • Complete assigned projects within the established timeframe and regularly update on the progress throughout the project duration. Maintain communication with application owners to ensure they are following the designated timeline. Escalate, when necessary, in cases of resistance or when it becomes apparent that the project will not be delivered on schedule.
      • Perform additional responsibilities as delegated or as required.
