    Job Description:
    They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our dynamic team.

    As a Senior Process Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and optimization of our chemical process, pilot scale, and waste conversion processes facility.

    You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of our technology and contribute to the advancement of sustainable practices in waste management.


    Responsibilities:

    • Process Design and Optimization: Lead the design, development, and optimization of chemical process, pilot scale, plant facilities, and waste conversion processes, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.
    • Technical Expertise: Apply expertise in chemical engineering principles to analyze and improve existing processes, troubleshoot issues, and develop innovative solutions.
    • Project Management: Manage projects from concept to implementation, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
    • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, and operations, to integrate process requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and environmental regulations, and participate in permitting processes as required.
    • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and performance enhancement through data analysis and experimentation.
    • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with process operations, safety, and environmental impact.
    • Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including process flow diagrams, P&IDs, operating procedures, and technical reports.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor"s or Master"s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in chemical process engineering, preferably in the chemical process/manufacturing, pilot plant/scale operations, or continuous batch operations
    • Strong understanding of chemical processes operations and facilities, thermodynamics, and kinetics.
    • Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and CAD software.
    • Experience with controls systems design and at least one controls programming suite (e.g., Delta V, Allen Bradley, etc.) is desired.
    • Experience with separation and dewatering process equipment (centrifuges, pumps, presses) and their supporting utilities (boilers, chillers, etc.) is required.
    • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
    • Knowledge of environmental regulations, chemical manufacturing compliance and permitting processes is a plus.
