    Join Our Esteemed Medical Team as a Locum Interventional Radiologist in Bismarck, ND


    Are you a dedicated Interventional Radiologist looking to make a meaningful impact while enjoying flexible scheduling? We are seeking a highly skilled Locum Physician to provide expert IR services at CHI St.

    Alexius in Bismarck, ND.

    In this role, you'll perform a variety of sophisticated interventional procedures, including diagnostic vascular interventions, angiography, thrombolytic therapy, embolization, vascular access device placement, biopsies, drainage procedures, and more.

    Stroke capability is preferred but not mandatory, with the primary focus on general IR procedures. Work hours are typically from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with evening call shifts from 4 p.m. to 8 a.m., complemented by 24-hour weekend call coverage. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to varied clinical demands are essential.


    Required Skills:
    Certified Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with valid medical license
    Proven experience in interventional radiology procedures
    Proficiency in diagnostic vascular interventions and angiography
    Ability to handle vascular access, biopsies, drainages, and other IR procedures
    Strong communication and teamwork skills
    Ability to work independently during on-call shifts


    Nice to Have Skills:
    Stroke intervention experience or neuro IR capabilities
    Familiarity with Epic EMR system
    Ability to read diagnostic imaging independently


    Preferred Education and Experience:
    Board Certification or Eligibility in Radiology
    Minimum of 2 years of IR practice experience
    Prior locum or hospital-based IR coverage preferred


    Other Requirements:
    ND State Medical License or ability to obtain one
    Credentialing and privileging process days)

    Ability to work scheduled dates:
    April 9-17, April 28-May 3, May 17-24, June 1-17, June 22-July 1
    Willingness to travel, with provided accommodations per MSA guidelines; travel arrangements and reimbursements included
