    About the Job:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to assist the Controller & Chief Financial Officer in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and regulatory reports.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the preparation or review of financial reports in compliance with GAAP, regulations, and organizational policies and procedures.
    • Research, resolve, and document technical accounting issues as they arise.
    • Design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting.
    • Monitor and account for fixed asset activity, including acquisitions, disposals, construction projects, depreciation, inventory, and impairment.
    • Prepare profitability analyses at the transaction, portfolio, business unit, and Association level.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
    • 2 – 3 years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial reporting experience, including responsibility for financial reporting and internal controls.
    • Public accounting experience in audit is highly preferred.
    • Experience with financial lending institutions is a plus.
    • CPA required.

    Skills:

    • Expert Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) & COSO framework.
    • Skill in working as part of a team and collaborating with colleagues.
    • Excellent research and writing skills.
    • Working knowledge of budgeting processes and financial projections.
