    Description

    The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track.

    Expertise is required in the specific area of hematopathology and independent/collaborative research. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.
    D. degree. American Board of Pathology, AP, AP/CP or CP and hematopathology.

    Teaching responsibilities may include medical students, residents, fellows and post-doctoral students.


    Clinical responsibilities may include participating in hematopathology service including bone marrow analysis, tissue analysis for hematopoietic neoplasms, flow cytometry analysis and hematology with expected night and weekend call.


    Research or scholarship responsibilities may include development of an independent or highly collaborative research program (as PI, Co-PI or Co-I) in the area of hematopathology.
