- Review annual data submitted by Plan Sponsors (wages, hours, compliance questionnaire, etc.)
- Review and interpret the plan document.
- Prepare optimum annual contribution allocations/outcomes.
- Follow task related projects via Pension Pro dashboard.
- Review reconciled trust accounts performed by internal trust accounting team.
- Review Form 5500 EZ for completeness.
- Answer basic plan questions from plan sponsors and financial advisors.
- Consult with Plan Sponsors and Financial Advisors about the plan termination process.
- General understanding of qualified plan compliance according to ERISA, IRS/DOL is helpful.
- High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
- Professional designation with ASPPA and/or NIPA helpful but not needed.
- Prior experience within the financial industry (retirement areas specifically) helpful.
- Ability to synthesize large volumes of information and distill key items.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
