    We are currently searching for a Software Test Engineer to provide support to the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

    This opportunity is a full-time position with Guidehouse, that can be performed remotely while supporting on-site researchers in Rockville, MD.

    Author test plan documents

    • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium.
    • Integrate Selenium scripts with GitHub Actions.
    • Determining the need for different types of testing: integration, functional, logical path, statistics, performance, availability, security, regression, smoke, etc.
    • Responsible for consistent usage of testing infrastructure, policies, processes, and procedures across the development team influencing culture for effective testing
    • Provide leadership in using testing principles, including risk identification, registration, and mitigation.
    • Author test status reports and inform the Product Owner as to the status and quality of software.
    • Author test summary reports are to be kept under system configuration management.
    • Experience with Windows and Linux server environments. Familiarity with cloud computing environments and methods
    Bachelor's Degree

    • Knowledge of functional testing, test automation concepts, continuous integration, and testing web applications
    • Experience with the Selenium toolset
    • Demonstrated experience in test automation development, using frameworks and tools like Cucumber, Postman as well as REST/JSON APIs.
    • Experience with software development and coding
    • Experience with LINUX/UNIX and Windows
    • Familiarity with cloud computing environments and methods
    • Bachelor's in life sciences, bioinformatics, physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science
    • Experience with performance testing and usability testing
    • Experience with Java and C#
    • Experience with Python, Perl, and scripting languages
