    Summary

    We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Child Care Assistant Director to become an integral part of our team. In this leadership role, you will collaborate closely with the Center Director to ensure the smooth daily operations of our esteemed child care center. Our priority is to maintain the highest standard of care for the children entrusted to us, and we are looking for an individual with a deep passion for early childhood education, coupled with strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with the Center Director to oversee daily operations and uphold the highest quality of child care services.
    • Possess and maintain the Director Credential (required).
    • Accumulate a minimum of 2 years of experience in child care or education administration.
    • Demonstrate hands-on experience working with students in an educational setting.
    • In-depth knowledge of state licensing regulations for child care centers.
    • Exhibit strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a dynamic team.
    • Showcase excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    Duties

    Duties:
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with licensing regulations and industry best practices.
    • Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
    • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise child care staff.
    • Conduct regular staff evaluations and provide ongoing professional development opportunities.
    • Collaborate with parents to address their concerns and ensure open lines of communication.
    • Manage the center's budget and financial operations.
    • Maintain accurate records and reports related to enrollment, attendance, and child development.
    • Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
    • Ensure the center's facilities are clean, well-maintained, and meet all safety standards.
    Requirements
    • Director Credential (required).
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in child care or education administration.
    • Experience working with students in an educational setting.
    • Knowledge of state licensing regulations for child care centers.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
