Law Enforcement Analyst
to join our team in
Springfield, VA
. This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conduct all source intelligence analysis, cyber analysis, counterintelligence analysis, and intelligence analysis for law enforcement.
Triage data from anomalous events, as collected by approved User Activity Monitoring (UAM) Tool and elevate anomalous events of concern.
Produce Insider Threat Referral Reports (e.g. investigative leads) to include;Computer misuse and violations of policies
Counterintelligence concerns, foreign influence, financial stressors, threats to self or others, and Continuous Evaluation (CE) adjudicative.
Complete special analytical projects as directed and document all special projects activities via written products and reports.
Access network monitoring, data analytics, and other tools, integrate available to decipher underlying trends and anomalies and discern obscure patterns and attributes found in the data.
Develop and deliver professional briefings and reports.Participate in technical meetings and working groups to address issues related to computer security and vulnerabilities.
Basic Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience working with data analytics tools and databases (e.g. analyst notebook, etc.)
Experience working with federal law enforcement, IC, cyber security or general law enforcement investigations or operations experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Possess Bachelor's degree or higher degree in a business, computer science, counterintelligence, criminal justice, engineering, fraud investigations, information technology, mathematics, or a scientific field.
Clearance Requirement:
Active TS/SCI security clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law.
