    The Stock Associate plays a vital role in receiving, unpacking, and preparing merchandise for the selling floor. This position requires strong organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized stock room environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Customer Experience
      • Adhere to dress code standards to create a positive first impression.
      • Maintain store standards and cleanliness on the selling floor and in the stock room.
    • Inventory Control
      • Notify management of shipment discrepancies and missed markdowns in the stock room.
      • Handle merchandise tasks such as steaming, folding, and hanging.
      • Organize new goods on the selling floor and replenish stock from the stock room.
      • Execute transfers, manage return-to-vendor requests, and handle customer charge sends.
      • Ensure the stock room is organized, clean, and ready for floor-ready merchandise at all times.
    • Cooperation & Dependability
      • Complete assigned duties satisfactorily and on time.
      • Be punctual and adhere to designated work schedules.
      • Collaborate with peers and management to accomplish duties.
      • Follow company policies and procedures strictly.
      • Perform regular housekeeping and maintenance duties.
    • Miscellaneous Responsibilities
      • Participate in and attend all store meetings and functions.
      • Represent a positive attitude toward the merchandise and the company.
      • Participate in all inventories.
      • Assume and complete additional duties assigned by store management.
      • Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during scheduled shifts.

      Requirements:

      • High school diploma or equivalent.
      • Previous retail or stockroom experience preferred.
      • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
      • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
      • Physical stamina to walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance frequently.
