    Description

    Our client, a leader in the Electric Vehicle industry, is hiring an Automotive Technician to join their team in Hazelwood, MO

    **This is a contract budgeted through June 2024 with benefits**

    **Night shift: 3:00pm - 12:00am**

    As the Automotive Technician, you will be working with our internal partners every day to assist with service needs and coordinate with our Service, Vehicle and Delivery Operations, and Field Service Engineer teams.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct pre-delivery inspections on new vehicles, using a documented process, checklist, and guidelines
    • Perform or assist with assigned diagnosis, repairs, installations, and inspections on vehicles
    • Assist and support vehicle repairs in a setting outside of a service center
    • Conduct road tests on vehicles to ensure quality of the repair
    • Perform necessary parts operations such as parts ordering, receiving, shipping and inventory

    Desired Skills:

    **Must possess a valid drivers license, and maintain a clean driving record**

    • Level 1 Technician: Less than 2 years of experience in a directly related trade (tire shop, for example, motorcycle repair shop, but not cashier); no automotive-specific training required
    • Level 2 Technician: 2-4 years of experience in an automotive-specific environment with exposure to various repairs (usually an independent shop, or dealership -not only oil changes, or tires); automotive training preferred
    • Level 3 Technician: 5+ years of automotive experience, EV experience preferred, HS Diploma or GED preferred, Graduated from an accredited automotive repair school preferred
    • One year of experience working in an automotive repair shop preferred
    • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
