- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics, examples include Nutritional Science, Community Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition; OR Licensed Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Bachelor's Degree in other fields may be considered with a minimum of 12 Semester Hours of Food and Nutrition and 6 hours of science OR International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant Certification (IBCLC).
- WIC Certification Training is required within one year of hire if the degree held is not directly related to nutrition.
- Technical certifications in public health are preferred and may be required.
- Must possess a valid Texas Driver's license.
