    As a Preparedness SME supporting our Federal government client, you will be trusted to provide advice on preparedness, stakeholder communications, program and project management, and other client tasks.

    This role will provide critical subject matter expertise in emergency management/preparedness, resilience, stakeholder outreach and communications, and response to emergencies and disasters.

    The Preparedness SME will support tasks under the direction of the Program and Administrative Support Task Lead and/or Program Manager.

    Develop outreach strategies and promotional products focused on emergency and disaster preparedness for individuals, families, and communities.

    • Conduct stakeholder engagement and focus groups, writing reports, and developing presentation materials.
    • Support efforts to promote the client's learning agenda and engage stakeholders to collect and share data to help answer learning agenda questions.

    • Provide administrative and program support
    • Provide administrative and operational support to government executives and managers, as needed.
    • You may work remotely dependent on contract requirements.
    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

    • 8+ years of recent and relevant experience in emergency management/preparedness, disaster response/recovery, or related fields
    • Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or Associate Emergency Manager (AEM) or similar state-level certification
