- Microscopic wet mounts.
- Dipstick urinalysis and manual microscopy.
- Glucose testing via finger stick method and phlebotomy.
- Phlebotomy for various send-out tests.
- EMR (AthenaNet) and OB/GYN experience are a must.
- Must be able to work independently and in a group setting.
- Efficiency and attention to detail.
- Solid critical thinking.
- Strong communication skills; verbal and written.
- Prioritize tasks appropriately and efficiently.
- Completion of an associate's degree or bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- ASCP or AMT Certified

Description
We are currently seeking a dynamic and friendly, full-time Lab Technician to join our busy OB/GYN practice. We are a well-established practice with 3 locations in the Hampton Roads area with 10 physicians, 2 physician assistants, 2 certified midwives, and a full-time marriage and family therapist. We provide in-house labs for our patients as well as perform lab draws/collections for sending out labs.Testing consists of:

Busy OB/GYN practice with 3 locations in the Norfolk, Downtown Norfolk and Chesapeake area. We have 10 physicians, 2 Physician Assistants and 2 Certified Nurse Midwives.
