Position: Pharmacist

Job Responsibilities:
- Supervising IV techs and checking/verifying.
- Reviews, compounds, and dispenses both IV and oral medications utilizing standard physical and chemical procedures to fill medication requests insured by physicians and other qualified prescribers. - Receives and reviews medication orders to verify the appropriateness of doses regarding patients age, weight, and allergies.
- Screens for potential drug interactions, documents interventions, reviews and updates medication reconciliation duties as deemed necessary.
- Transfers prescriptions, and provides drug information in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Accountable for the timely achievement of individual and team metrics as assigned.
- Performs medication order entry into the computer, monitors patient profiles for appropriate medication use oversees the work of the support staff, and documents any relevant intervention.
- The position is expected to meet state certifications, requires familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures, and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Qualifications:

• At least 1-2 years of hospital experience
• WY pharmacy license required
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy degree.
• ACLS certification, preferred.
• BLS certification, preferred.
