- Collaborate with sales teams to offer security reassurance to customers, including responding to security inquiries and completing RFPs
- Coordinate and engage in security assessments and resolution activities
- Partner with engineering and product teams to ensure the proper implementation of security commitments
- Develop, administer, and execute security compliance tools to maintain program effectiveness and adherence to established standards and requirements
- Create internal and customer-facing documentation, policies, and informative materials
- Provide expert advice, direction, and innovation to internal and external stakeholders
- Interact with security and privacy program managers, product development, and legal teams
- Support others in implementing security policy objectives in alignment with business goals
- Participate in periodic compliance initiatives, such as ISO27001 and SOC2 compliance
- Stay abreast of security trends, regulatory updates, and technological advancements by attending conferences and networking events
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced setting
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in information security or compliance-related roles
- Capability to engage effectively with external clients and stakeholders
- Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and project management abilities
- Proficient understanding of software engineering fundamentals
- Extensive background in cloud security controls and implementing security measures in cloud environments
- Capacity to assess risks in complex situations and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with recognized information security practices such as ISO 27001, Cloud Security Alliance CCM, NIST
- Willingness to undergo background checks and meet personnel security requirements
- Certifications in information security
- Over a year of experience working with external clients and stakeholders
- Familiarity with CJIS Security Policy or FedRAMP
- Experience in an ISO 27001 compliant information security program
- Knowledge of cloud computing technologies
