    Description
  • Educate stakeholders on the business impact and ROI of taxonomy work and provide ongoing support with taxonomy governance and implementation frameworks.
  • We meet in GoogleMeet, talk through Slack and email, use Confluence, Google Drive and track our work through Jira.
  • Master's Degree in Information Management, Library and Information Science (ALaccredited MLS/MLIS, MSIM, MSIS), or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with multilingual taxonomy creation and management, metadata standards, subject classification, and knowledge organization.
  • Strong skills in gathering taxonomy efficiency requirements, including user interviews, heuristic reviews, facet analysis, coverage models and taxonomy tree testing.
  • Knowledge of taxonomy and ontology standards, protocols, and schemas (SKOS, OWL, RDF, SPARQL, JSON-LD, , DBPedia.)
  • Experience with taxonomy and ontology semantic middleware like PoolParty, TopQuadrant EDG, or similar software.
  • System1 allows fully-remote work in the following approved locations: Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Hawaii, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
