    Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM



    Experience:

    • 24 months of role experience is preferred with some in the last 12 months.
    • Preferred 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
    • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.


    Requirements:

    • Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).
    • This role will require floating to multiple units
    • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
    • Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
    • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System.
    Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

    Additional

    Details:
    RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold
    MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

    No medical marijuana cards accepted.

    You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

    Required Skills/

    Experience:
    Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Medications, PCA, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Total joint replacement, Isolation Precautions/PPE

    Preferred Skills/

    Experience:
    Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry - remote monitoring, PICC line management

    BJC policy: Every other weekend required. For day shift it is every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday. For night shift it can be Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday -depends on who already is on rotation

    Could be pulled to any unit except ICU, SDU, and ED


    Details:

    • AUTO OFFER -NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
    7 days maximum time off

    2 references from last 2 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
