Job Title:
Forklift Operator/Material Handler (Production Worker I)

Essential Functions:

Work and drive safely, observing all EHS rulesKnowledge of and ability to process paperwork such as route sheets, picklists, etc.

Ability to read, understand and utilize route sheets, picklists and blueprintsAbility to operate an RF Scanner to locate partsMust be a self-starter with ability to work independentlyMaterial Handling and Transportation of ProductPerform other tasks as directedComply with all DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and proceduresComply with all Health and Safety policies and proceduresUses all designated Personal Protective Equipment as requiredActive involvement in DPS through continuous improvement and kaizen eventsMust be able to work scheduled overtime hoursAssist other departments as assignedSuccessfully complete annual RCRA Hazardous Waste and DOT Hazardous Material Training (if applicable)While this list is representative of essential job duties, it is not an all-inclusive list of duties required to perform this role.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate ability to:Work and operate forklift safelyFor internal positions, no written warnings (within 12 months)Must be DCI licensed to operate a forklift and able to demonstrate proficiently in the operation of department equipment for which applying.

RF Reader experience preferredPrevious materials handling experience preferredIf working with hazardous materials, training is required for hazardous waste and DOT procedures.

Perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast paced work environmentInteract constructively and effectively with all plant employeesAbility to work in a team environment toward a common goalReacts to change productively and to handle other tasks as assignedMaintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendanceCertifications/Licenses/Registrations:
