- Demonstrates the ability to perform immediate assessment on admission of labor and neonate patients and initial assessments of other patients.
- Performs initial assessment of patients with consideration of their biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, education and discharge needs.
- Demonstrates the ability to circulate and recover patients undergoing C-Sections.
- Demonstrates accountability for administering, observing, charting and recording accurately the use of medications/controlled drugs and IV procedures.
- Graduate from an accredited school or otherwise recognized nursing program.
- Licensed RN in the state of Ohio
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required within 90 days of hire.
- 1 year of Acute Care or Labor and Delivery experience required.
