Job summary

This position works independently to help provide and maintain church owned Meetinghouses Recreation Camps Welfare and Seminary Facilities which gives Church members places where they can work worship teach learn pray together make and renew sacred covenants.

This position is responsible for performing scheduled and emergency preventive maintenance to ensure warranty compliance and extend life of equipment on HVAC systems and equipment plumbing electrical sound systems. Performs repairs to motors pumps small engines cabinets mill work sheet rock flooring locks hardware Services repairs or replaces HVAC systems components plumbing systems electrical systems sound electronic systems Installs maintains repairs doors drywall handrails masonry insulation roofs windows etc Follows preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment motors pumps etc Repairs or replaces locks hinges mill work sheet rock minor tile work minor wall coverings minor small paint jobs motors engines ground care equipment Installs maintains repairs interior exterior finish woodwork such as cabinets custom furniture casings countertops exhibits molding trim base Installs repairs maintains flooring including carpet tile LVT Installs repairs maintains concrete masonry exterior fencing Handles maintains repairess the necessary required tools portable machines general construction equipment Utilizes Corrigo work order tracking software church time entry software personal efficiently manage document daily work Responsible maintaining OSHA standard safety during work reporting hazards accidents both inside outside building Operations Manager Estimates purchases materials needed specific job project Manages inventory supplies equipment orders new supplies needed Reconciliation using church purchasing software P card purchases Attends meetings assigned by Operations Manager attends training sessions improve technical skills Provides relevant data regulatory work order property inspections Operates Fleet vehicle ensures all regulatory maintenance performed Works engages contractors needed Performs other duties assigned FM group Coach FM Technicians complex technical repairs installations keep 50% maintenance repair inhouse Mentor FM Technicians inspect evaluate condition various facility systems provide valuable maintenance preventive measures Train FM technicians utilize Work Order Software engage customers third party vendors Communicate operations functions complex mechanisms simply accurately Remains responsive inquiries requests assistance FM Technicians

Qualifications

High School Diploma 5 years related experience equivalent combination experience education Proof meeting Church standard KPIs perform top level Ability mentor train others how perform technical functions Maintain adequate knowledge comply OSHA Occupational Safety Health Act standards Church safety policies Ability effectively communicate present information individuals small groups Ability read comprehend instructions including but not limited to safety policies procedure manuals Ability write routine reports correspondence Must proficient computers cellphones tablets Understand use MS Office applications department specific software web based programs internet services wireless communications Must efficiently manage own schedule prioritize work accomplish job requirements Must familiar safely industrial cleaning chemicals products Maintain valid driver license operate Fleet vehicle
