Job Description
Our client, a large managed service provider, is looking for a Senior System Engineer to join their growing team. They are looking for someone who has a lot of experience completely virtualizing on-premises infrastructures using Hyper-V and VMWare. They need someone who has experience spearheading a team or a project to complete server deployments efficiently.

The ideal candidate is experienced with virtualizing servers using a variety of Hyper-V and VMware tools in different infrastructure environments.

If you have experience completely virtualizing an on-prem infrastructure this could be the perfect role for you. Tech wise, they need someone highly skilled with Windows, Hyper-V, VMware, Entra, and Storage Area Networks (SAN).

This is a contract-to-hire, hybrid (3 days onsite a week) position located in McKinney, Texas. Compensation is $55-65 an hour. Required Skills & Experience

Experience virtualizing on-prem environments using a variety of virtualization tools.
Advanced knowledge of Windows and a variety of Microsoft tools (including Hyper-V, M365, Entra, etc).
Leadership skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills & Experience

5-6 years of System Engineering experience.
Any leadership or lead experience is a huge plus.
