Job summary
We are seeking friendly and motivated individuals to join our team as Customer Service Representatives. As a Customer Service Representative you will be the face of U-Haul's exceptional service and ensure customers get all the help they need on their journeys by inspecting and maintaining equipment.You will assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services using smartphone-based technology to manage rentals and inventory. You will also move and hook up trucks trailers clean equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels answer questions educate customers regarding products services prepare rental invoices accept equipment returned from rental install hitches trailer wiring fill propane drive forklift participate in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University.
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions e.g working around moving parts machines fumes irritant chemicals may be required to use protective clothing gear such as masks goggles gloves shields The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods remaining stationary moving around indoors outdoors positioning oneself reach objects varying heights moving equipment weighing minimum lbs assisted or unassisted.
