    Our client is a St Louis-based manufacturer of architectural woodwork, providing high quality custom fixtures and furnishings to high profile customers globally.

    Remote/hybrid work is available but

    candidates should reside within 200 miles of St Louis, MO . Travel in to that office will be required frequently.

    Experience Required:
    Project Manager, Account Manager, or Shop Foreman experience in one of the following: architectural millwork, architectural metal work, retail store fixtures, point of purchase (POP) display, or exhibit industry

    Job Summary:
    The Project Manager has overall responsibility for the successful execution of assigned projects.

    This manager will typically be assigned larger more complex customer accounts, will be assigned multiple accounts and junior level project assistants in support of the successful execution.

    Responsibilities include customer coordination of design definition value engineering, prototype, manufacturing, delivery, installation, and on-going customer service.

    The Project Manager will provide the leadership/coordination of all activities related to assigned projects while ensuring the highest level of service that will inevitably lead to sales growth.


    Duties & Responsibilities:
    Define project scope and customer expectations, communicating effectively with internal support teams.
    Collaborate with customers to identify Value Engineering opportunities, optimizing costs while maintaining quality standards.
    Ensure product engineering aligns with customer requirements and industry standards.
    Develop comprehensive project timelines, monitoring progress and implementing corrective actions as needed.
    Participate in prototype development and review processes, ensuring alignment with project goals.
    Monitor production processes and costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
    Lead initiatives to enhance gross margin, driving cost savings, price increases, and value engineering.
    Provide shipping instructions and oversee site offload conditions where applicable.
    Facilitate customer inventory reports and manage inventory to minimize obsolescence risks.
    Coordinate outsourcing of production and services as needed to meet production demands.
    Offer technical support to Sales and Estimating teams as required.
    Conduct site visits to manufacturing locations to review new products and ensure quality standards are met.
    Provide monthly sales forecasts for assigned customers, collaborating with Sales teams as necessary.

    Requirements:


    4+ years' experience in a project or account manager role in the store fixture, point of purchase (POP), or exhibit industry.

    Will also consider millwork or metal work shop foreman ready to take next step.
    Bachelor's degree in engineering or business is preferred
    Understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) fundamentals preferred
    Ability to travel, nationwide and sometimes internationally, 20-30 days per year. Must have valid Passport.
    Extensive experience supporting customer initiatives with a proven track record of attaining a high level of customer satisfaction
    High-level technical expertise including the ability to support and enhance new design and value engineering efforts
    The ability to create and maintain computer spreadsheets
    Must be able to multi-task, able to take independent action, a problem solver, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
