Job DescriptionOur client, a rapidly growing organization in the food distribution industry, is looking for a Payroll Supervisor to join their team The ideal candidate for this role will have 5+ years of full cycle payroll experience for 500+ employees. Please note that this position will be required to work onsite in their corporate headquarters in Vernon, CA.
This job is paying $38.00-$43.00 per hour.
Job Duties:
· Ensure compliance with applicable laws and payroll tax obligations.
· Complete payroll reports
· Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate reports.
· Manage and maintain payroll records.
· Delegate tasks to the payroll team
· Manage full cycle multi-state payroll for non-exempt and exempt employees.
· Manage employee wage garnishments.
· Respond to payroll related questions or concerns.
· Process termination checks
· Support with some HR responsibilities.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of payroll processing experience
· Experience working with ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
· Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, or related area of study.
· Knowledge of federal and state regulations filing and compliance requirements.
· Team oriented with strong customer service skills.
