- Lead the design and development of satellite communication systems, including RF communication systems, signal processing, and antenna design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into detailed technical specifications and design solutions.
- Utilize Altium Designer for PCB layout design, ensuring optimal signal integrity, power distribution, and manufacturability.
- Conduct thorough analysis and testing of hardware prototypes, identifying and resolving technical issues to meet performance objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating new developments into project designs and strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in satellite design, ground system communications, and prototyping.
- Proficiency in PCB design software, particularly Altium Designer, and schematic capture tools.
- Strong understanding of RF communication systems, signal processing, and antenna design principles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and contribute to cross-functional teams, from concept development to product deployment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Active Top Secret security clearance with Polygraph.
