- Assists in developing and implementing policies, goals, and objectives.

The Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) is a health care agency dedicated to promoting the overall health and wellness of individuals with behavioral health needs through comprehensive services that foster dignity and self-sufficiency.
The Addiction Services Division is part of Connecticut Valley Hospital providing 24-hour inpatient services. The division offers inpatient services in Middletown and Hartford offering acute detoxification and intensive treatment levels of care.
