About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Precision Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in producing high-quality components using CNC machines, presses, grinders and lathes. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our machining processes, contributing directly to our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate parts that meet stringent quality standards.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to develop tooling and dies.
- Conduct regular maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to refine machining methods and enhance productivity.
- Perform thorough quality checks using precision measuring instruments to validate conformance to specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of production activities and process parameters.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining.
- Demonstrated experience as a CNC Machinist or Tool and Die Maker.
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
Preferred Skills
- In-depth knowledge of CNC programming and machine operation.
- Experience with AS9100 standards.
- Hands-on experience with tool, die, and mold setup.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
