The Engineer will be based out of our HQ in Branchburg, NJ, but travel for project related support to our facilities.
Lead Quality related capital projects by managing the design and properimplementation.
Ensure sustainable operation, maintenance, and metrology of online and other analytical instruments.
Actively engage with the project manager to ensure projects are on time, on budget, and deliver the required quality
Sustain the complementary Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data monitoring software used for SPC and plant control of analytical based data.
Create and issue drawings for sampling systems, conduct and lead Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEAs), and 8Ds.
Map future laboratory instrumentation requirements for emerging products. Integrate within the stage gate process on line analytics to improve pilot plant characteristics and quality by design attributes.
Interface between multiple departments, including Analyzer technical community within Air Liquide, to drive projects to completion on time and within budget.
Expected to travel to sites as business needs dictate including but not limited to support equipment installations and visit suppliers for commissioning activities.
Travel could be 25 to 50% during the project commissioning phase and can fluctuate based on the scale and location of the project.
Ability to communicate effectively and work with cross functional teamsSuccessfully completes all required training.

Are you a MATCH?
Required Qualifications
BS in Chemical Engineering or higher
5+ Years experience in Project engineering or Project management to include designing, commissioning and starting up of chemical plants, performing hands-on optimization of specialty chemicals/gases production units/ analyzer systems.
Proven track record of delivering on commitments.
Problem solving and decision making skills.
Solution/outcome oriented in an environment with minimal supervision.
Experience in design and installation of lab equipment, sampling systems and online analyzers.
Working knowledge of DCS and PLC control system design, installation, and function.
Process hazard analysis leadership; LOPA and HAZOP.
Development and use of metrics for performance management.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with highly hazardous chemicals in at a manufacturing facility.
Expertise in metrology systems design and operation.
Demonstrated presentation skills.
