Job summary
The Southbridge Public Schools are seeking an elementary school teacher to create a flexible grade program and establish effective rapport with students. The ideal candidate will motivate students to develop skills and knowledge needed for elementary education.Responsibilities include teaching reading, language arts, social studies, mathematics, science according to Massachusetts Curriculum Standards and developing lesson plans. The teacher will also guide the learning process toward established district curriculum goals and communicate clear objectives to students.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution and hold a valid Massachusetts Teaching License. A valid SEI Endorsement or Grade-level appropriate ESL License is also required.
