    Description

    Join a Private Credit fund in Dallas, TX as a Quantitative Associate! Work on driving growth for the residential whole loan and securitization fund focusing on structured finance, distressed debt, and real estate assets, in a dynamic boutique fund environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide quantitative analysis on mortgage performances for trade decisions
    • Engage in U.S. residential mortgages and securitized products trading
    • Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and back testing
    • Develop pricing tools, assist in valuations, and analyze macro indicators in the residential market
    • Collaborate with various functions like trading, due diligence, closing, and finance

    Requirements:

    • Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering
    • 3+ years experience in a quant analyst role
    • Proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn)
    • Statistical modelling experience including monte carlo simulations and black-scholes modeling
    • Strong background in structured finance, particularly mortgage-backed securities
    • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
