By expanding its significant expertise in designing, synthesizing, and manufacturing cLNPs with a spectrum of properties suitable for a range of prophylactic and therapeutic indications, this innovative business model will allow the company to accelerate near-term revenue growth through technology licensing and mRNA cGMP manufacturing services for multiple future | www.ethernamanufacturing.comEtherna is looking for a motivated Finance & Accounting professional to support the Finance department in the day-to-day accounting operations.

The Finance & Accounting professional will be involved in the various accounting tasks especially in managing all accounting transactions in the accounting system.

To be successful in his/her role, he/she should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes and directly report to the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties The Finance & Accounting professional s duties shall include, but not be limited to:

Manage all daily accounting entries and prepare month-end accounting entries and manage P&L (management fees, reclasses, etc.) and Balance Sheet treatments (deferrals, accruals);Reconcile monthly accounts payables and receivables;Ensure completeness of the costs booked in accounting on a monthly basis (i.e.

services rendered during the month are covered by a valid delivery)Prepare bi-weekly payment run in the banking system (Isabel);Prepare monthly tax declaration (VAT) when needed supported by external experts;Support in the preparation of the audit and the Annual Accounts in BE GAAP;Monitor the cash position daily and perform weekly reconciliation between the company's bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers.

Job requirements Education:
Bachelors degree in accounting or equivalent working experience with proven skills in accounting

Experience:

You have at least 3 years of professional experience in transactional accounting and in a similar role;You have a good ability to understand general accounting principles.

Experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry is a plus;You have knowledge of analytical and BE GAAP accounting concepts;You have experience in (the preparation of) financial and tax related reporting.

Other Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:

Strong PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Isabel), knowledge of Adsolut and Isabel is a plus;Excellent attention to detail and a focus on ensuring the task is completed to high quality standards;Motivated and eager to learn;Ability to work independently;Proficient in reading and interpreting financial reporting;Well organized, accurate, hands-on, result focused;Ability to set priorities and take initiative;Fluent in Dutch and English (both written and spoken).
