- Responsible for partnering closely with business stakeholders to understand in-efficiencies and challenges in a given business process
- Gathering business requirements and designing solutions on SAP and non-SAP platforms to enable an efficient business process
Candidate will work with both business users and the technical teams to develop processes and solutions
- Candidate should have experience working on SAP platform, preferably S4 - FI/CO and other related modules
- Must have experience and proficiency in the Finance domain and an ability to work with non-technical business team members as well as the technical teams in IT
- Responsible for partnering with the Finance organization to identify and resolve process gaps
- Analyze and implement solutions in areas such as AP, AR, GL, lockbox, electronic banking, controlling, CCA, PCA, etc
- Document processes and support the business in day-to-day activities
- Own the solution and drive solution realization in the following areas: AP, AR, GL, Costing, Controlling, Asset Accounting, etc
- Thorough understanding of SAP's Finance and Costing tables so you can create queries and reports
- Deep business and process knowledge
- Should have experience working for large (ideally global) companies
- Thorough understanding of accounting business processes and SAP functionality and solutions
- Partner with business team members in automating processes in the Finance area
- Excellent verbal and written skills to articulate solution options and recommendations
- Work with key business users to define project objectives and requirements
