Maintenance Lead/MRO Planner - Fort Morgan

Duties And Responsibilities Primary Role- MRO/Planner Parts purchasing/Req's Inventory- critical parts monthly annual Incoming Package Receiving- Upon arrival log get packages to correct area put all maintenance parts away Goods Receipts Contractor Management SLAM forms scheduling them for work Safety Qualification forms Monthly On Call Rotation to assist on-shift techs as needed Working Lead Role as needed Perform both unscheduled work as well as preventative predictive maintenance on equipment daily to help achieve a goal of zero downtime and one hundred percent efficiency Inspect and Audit key department projects and work orders First step escalation contact for maintenance techs when on shift responsible for escalating to maintenance manager Properly document all repair discrepancies order replacement parts and complete outstanding work orders Provide feedback to manager to assist in evaluations of employees Fill in for vacation sick or otherwise vacant spots with little notice at times Correct GMP discrepancies Oversee pass down issues with night shift Make recommendations that identify and eliminate problems within the work areas which helps the company further the Continuous Improvement process Proficient in maintenance management systems CMMS Support the installation of new equipment including support and implementation of preventive maintenance program Communicate with the Purchasing Agent to ensure needed parts are ordered and proper inventories are in place Assist machine operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime Oversee maintenance department while Maintenance Manager is on vacation Participate in plant committees programs Safeguard protect all company assets in his or her care Make decisions timely Consistently show ability recognize deal priorities Maintain cooperative working relationships communications employees maintenance well departments Ensure all repairs documented Complete work orders assigned Attend required training safety food safety etc Dedicate effort safety expected every employee leave condition arrive Follow DFA good manufacturing practices GMP consistent corporate regulatory food safety quality sanitation requirements Work schedule includes rotating call schedule alternating week Maintenance Manager include weekends needed Work opposite shift Maintenance Manager expand support plant An Equal Opportunity Employer Disabled Veterans Required Minimum Qualifications Education Experience High School diploma GED required Prior experience required PLC Programming preferred Necessary Knowledge Skills Abilities Integrity exhibits ethical behavior actions communications self-management Passion demonstrates compelling inspired vision engagement workplace activities business plans attitude self-development Performance Drive pro-active seeking solutions demonstrates sense urgency pushes results seeks continuous improvement job-related areas development Ability read interpret schematics engineering prints Able perform mechanical overhauls pumps motor bearing changes piping projects Able lead instruct others proper safe procedures Able electrical repairs motor wiring starter fuses basic trouble-shooting repairs Demonstrate teach need process using gas monitors full body harnesses Knowledge utilization SAP system monitoring orders open close accounting man-hours acquiring spare-parts directed Maintenance Manager Compressor Air Ammonia Freon certification Pumps Positive Centrifugal Welding Fabrication purge welding Waste Water Treatment experience plus Dairy experience preferred leadership skill potential growth additional promotion responsibilities
