    Description

    **Accounting Manager – Debt / Securitization Role Summary:**

    This position is responsible for monitoring and recording transactions for our debt / securitization portfolio. The successful candidate will provide support around our secured, unsecured, and revolving debt at OneMain and have opportunities to expand and develop the role.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support the Debt / Securitization accounting department with review of daily / periodic / monthly transactions and balancing activities.
    • Transaction analysis including strategic accounting such as securitizations, revolving credit facilities, and working closely with corporate accounting colleagues and financial leaders.
    • Support SOX controls, SEC Reporting and Financial Statement Review.
    • Updating, balancing, testing and enhancements related to the third-party debt system.
    • Develop, challenge, and implement process controls as appropriate.
    • Interact and coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audit.

    Requirements:

    • CPA or CPA candidate, or
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, or
    • MBA or Master's Degree in Accounting, plus
    • 5+ years of progressive experience in an accounting department
    • Strong proficiency working with spreadsheets
    • Experience working with sourcing data
    • Previous management experience in leading a team
    • Consumer Lending Accounting or Finance experience desired with emphasis working with a debt / securitization portfolio preferred
