    SMG's marketing team is expanding We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to enhance our brand presence by developing marketing assets that will contribute to increased engagement, brand visibility, and the overall success of marketing campaigns.

    This position will work closely with our marketing team on activities related to social media, graphic design, trade shows, collateral development, and other functions that support the company.

    The position will be based out of our Indianapolis office with the flexibility to work remotely 1-2 days each week.

    This position does not offer relocation assistance.

    Overview of Job ResponsibilitiesSocial MediaDevelop and manage content for social media platforms that will increase brand awareness and engagementMonitor social media channels, respond to comments, and analyze performance metricsTransform digital content from any source into impactful social media postsAssist internal departments and external partners in promoting programs and initiatives through social media contentAdhere to a social media strategy that ensures consistent style guides and supports initiativesStay up-to-date on social media trends and algorithm changes to continuously improve ranking and online presenceGraphic Design/Content CreationDesign visually compelling materials, including web graphics, marketing collateral, social media graphics, ads, video graphics, and moreManage logo usage and communicate brand guidelines as neededEnsure brand consistency, proper grammar, punctuation, and formatting across all design elementsSupport the marketing team in writing engaging and informative blogs and articles that align with the company's marketing strategy and target audienceFollow SEO best practices that enhance discoverabilityCollaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to gather insight for content creationAdditional Marketing SupportOrganize and maintain company photo/video/collateral databaseSupport as needed in the planning, coordination, and execution of trade shows and events; some off-siteAssist in procurement and fulfillment of promotional items for internal teams, trade shows, and eventsOther duties as assigned RequirementsEducation and ExperienceInterested candidates are invited to submit a cover letter and portfolio showcasing their skills and accomplishments as a key component of the application processBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent2-5 years of experience in a similar marketing or graphic design role (bonus if within the construction, manufacturing, or other B2B service industry)Extensive experience in current best practices on LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and InstagramWordPress knowledge is a plusTrello or other project management platform knowledge is a plusGoogle Analytics/G4 experience (min.
