- Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needs
- Seat guests and manage the seating chart
- Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
- Perform opening and closing duties, as needed
- Assist others with side work including, but not limited to, cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
- Ensure knowledge of menu
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
- Assist fellow associates wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
- Ability to work different shifts (incl. days/evenings/weekends/holidays)
- Ability to lift/push/pull 25-50lbs.
- Ability to work a complete shift (8 hours) with or without reasonable accommodation
- Speak clearly and talk easily with all kinds of people to put them at ease.
- Use judgment and reasoning to cope with emergencies, such as sudden illness, accident, or interrupted service.
- Perform a variety of activities, changing activities often and sometimes without notice.
- Plan and carry out an activity.
- Plan the work of others.
