    Salary :
    $50,000 - $60,000 (Analyst) & $60,000 - $90,000 (Analyst II)

    Our Banking client is looking.

    To add 3 individuals to its BSA program:

    BSA Analyst :
    Banking BSA experience is required, plus CTR knowledge.
    BSA Analyst II (SAR focus):


    Banking experience is a must in this role too, this is for someone that has experience in BSA with SAR investigations, SAR writing, and SAR filing.

    This role is to be considered senior within the team, so this person will be required to offer support and guidance to Analysts too.

    BSA Analyst II (OFAC):


    Banking experience is a must and this person needs to have OFAC sanctions experience, specifically with the ability to make accurate decisions relating to sanctions.

    Having OFAC sanctions testing/country high risk scoring/ OFAC risk assessment experience is a plus too.

    This role is to be considered senior within the team, so this person will be required to offer support and guidance to Analysts too.


    Responsibilities:
    Responsible for investigating customer transactions using AML software and various bank systems.
    Retrieve information from various sources (internal and external) to assist with investigation.

    Ability to review and analyze transactions to determine if they are suspicious in nature and take appropriate actions to support alert dispositions and maintain proper documentation.

    Prepare and submit Suspicious Activity Reports according for FinCEN guidelines.
    Substantiate no-SAR decisions with sound and documented analysis.
    Assist with daily validation of system data to ensure timely alert generation.
    Keep direct supervisor aware of significant events that may impact day-to-day production.

    Comply with 314a information requests by screening law enforcement lists against the customer and transaction database and timely report positive matches.

    Assist in training and mentoring junior staff in investigation techniques, transaction and behavior analysis, and record keeping standards.
    Complete all required bank training by assigned due dates.
    Maintain a strong understanding of BSA/AML/OFAC regulatory requirements.
    Keep up to date with the latest trends and investigative techniques.


    Requirements:
    Bachelors Degree plus CAMS certifications.
    Minimum of 2 years of BSA/AML compliance at a banking institution.
    Familiarity with Abrigo AML software and FIS is preferred, but not essential.
    Ability to work onsite 5 days a week.
