    Role Overview:


    We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a large focus on operational management.

    In this dual position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Dartcor's financial strategy while overseeing and optimizing our operational processes to drive efficiency and growth.

    This high-impact, hands-on role requires very strong critical thinking about company performance and the ability to exercise sound judgment.

    We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in accounting who is also distinguished by their track record of operational excellence and general financial acumen.

    The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the successful implementation of strategic initiatives to advance an organization's goals while effectively mitigating operational and financial risks.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Financial Management and Accounting:


    Manage a team of three direct reports and oversee all aspects of accounting and treasury operations, including monthly close, AP/AR, payroll, taxes, compliance, and cash flow management.

    Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records and adherence to accounting standards.
    Provide strategic guidance on financial matters, including revenue recognition, cost analysis, and cash flow management.


    Operational Excellence:
    Achieving specific, targeted goals for each business unit based on the strategic plan for the entire portfolio.
    Implementing and managing operating policies and processes to execute on CEOs vision.
    Developing strategic goals in collaboration with the strategic leadership team and translating them into operational reality.
    Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and strategic leadership team.
    Ensure and manage compliance with all internal and external stakeholders.


    Leadership & Team Development:
    Building a culture of accountability at the business and personal level, by leadership and example.
    Setting up appropriate performance targets and monitoring of progress and KPI reporting to leadership to support overall corporate strategy.
    Aligning resources and finding synergies within regional and unit-level operations to enhance the entire portfolio.
    Implementing appropriate incentive compensation models.
    Being a spokesperson and role-model for the value system of the company
    Developing and maintaining organizational structures to maximize operational efficiency.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA required.
    Proven experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably within the food service, hospitality, or related industry.
    Preference given to candidates with CFO experience or executive level business operations experience.
    A minimum of 15 years of experience with increasing responsibilities
    Strong understanding of operational principles and best practices, with a track record of driving operational excellence and efficiency improvements.

    Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

    Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes.
