Duties
- Take orders accurately using Toast POS, ensuring swift and correct processing of transactions
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality in both fine dining and casual settings
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, addressing their needs promptly and professionally
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Maintain food safety and food handling standards by adhering to health regulations and proper sanitation procedures
- Assist with catering, banquet, nightclub, or retail events as needed, supporting setup, service, and cleanup processes
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service while balancing multiple tables or bar orders
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments
- Familiarity with Toast POS experience with cash handling and cashiering preferred
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math for accurate transactions
- Previous banquet, catering, or retail math experience is a plus; beverage knowledge including brewing is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
