Entergy's Transmission Department is looking to hire two students that are pursuing an Electrical Mechanical and/or Civil Engineering degree.
- Assisting engineers in day-to-day activities including project scoping site visits review of Transmission Lines substations projects progress preparing operational one-line drawings management of infrastructure health ranking develop plans to mitigate risks creation of a more detailed model used to improve capital prioritization substations rankings health assessment validating estimating prices equipment units ensuring material is properly ordered staged for upcoming projects managing projects that are in construction completion of as-built documentation participating weekly planning coordination calls working on special projects improving grid reliability responding equipment failures NERC Clearance Remediation transmission line database management supporting Business Analyst processes data mining reporting performing detailed engineering analysis transmission-related areas
