- Enforce specific safety and health procedures in conjunction with project controls in order to translate policies and regulations into effective work practices.
- Monitor compliance with mandatory safety and health laws, standards and codes.
- Teach project specific safety orientation which all project personnel shall complete prior to being allowed to perform any work on this Project as directed.
- Perform and document daily field observations of construction related activities, to identify and correct deficiencies and report daily.
- Support the Construction Manager's weekly Safety Committee Meeting.
- Conduct construction site Safety Audits.
- Investigate injuries, near misses, conditions and incidents to ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
- Maintain adequate records of pertinent data and compile the required reports on individual job occupational injury or illness experience.
- Be familiar with industrial cleaning operations, electrical work and other industrial operations that take place inside industrial operations.
- Able to work effectively in both the construction and industrial environments.
- Construction at an existing pharma facility.
