    Job Description

    DMS International (DMS) is seeking a Supply Management Analyst who will provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) services for fleet sustainment programs.

    The Supply Management Analyst provides a full range of logistics and supply chain analysis for customer fleet sustainment programs by providing functional/technical assistance for worldwide logistics requirements, commodity sustainment and distance support. They contribute to business processes, systems, tech editing, ordering, tracking, invoice processing, valuation, auditing, and performance measures. They conduct analyses, recommending and documenting suggested courses of actions. They support N4 subject matter experts in documenting business process and procedures. They define and recommend business process metrics based on best practices and identify areas within N4 where both contractor and government performance could be improved with a process or technology change. The duties and attributes include:
    • Providing functional/technical support for worldwide logistical support of all Supply Chain, Commodities Sustainment, and Distance Support.
    • Supporting business processes, systems, tech editing, ordering, tracking, invoice processing, valuation, auditing, and performance measures.
    • Conducting analyses and studies, recommending fully documented courses of action.
    • Supporting N4 SME in documenting business process/procedures, recommend/define business process metrics based on best practices and
    • identifying areas within N4 (contractor/government) that could be improved with a change in technology and/or process.
    Required Qualifications:
    • Must possess and maintain a US Government Secret level clearance.
    • 8 years of demonstrated knowledge, expertise, and relevant experience providing ship acquisition and/or fleet sustainment logistics support services to the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, Military Sealift Command, or maritime ship operating companies including:
      • Supply financial and inventory management.
      • Material identification and sourcing from commercial and federal sources.
      • Material order submission, tracking, and expediting using DoD and Navy MILSTRIP requisition transactions.
      • Material shipping, monitoring, tracing, and tracking using both commercial sources and the Defense Transportation System (DTS) for CONUS and OCONUS delivery.
      • Identifying, analyzing, auditing, and developing requirements for acquiring logistics information in support of planned maintenance, industrial assistance, equipment alterations, and removals.
      • Reviewing, interpreting, and auditing acquisition documentation, specifications, technical manuals, vendor supplies data, vendor purchase orders, shipboard feedback, and other available technical information.
      • Conducting inventories, developing mock-ups, creating layouts to support material on-loads and off-loads.
      • Performing causative research for inventory gains or losses.
      • Auditing, updating, analyzing, and determining inventory management posture.
      • Defining stock levels and frequency of reordering for the command.
      • Providing technical expertise to staff officials regarding supply procedures afloat and ashore during procurement of materials and services.
      • Assisting leadership by ensuring procurement actions are initiated for all standard (federal stock number) and non- standard (commercial source) material, equipment, and service requirements.
      • Understanding of the Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) to meet mission requirements.
