Parkview Health is actively recruiting a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our at our Main Campus in .

This is an outstanding opportunity to build a comprehensive community-based pediatric endocrinology practice, with the support of a large community-based health system .

Key position with a vital role in developing the new Pediatric Endocrinology program at Parkview
~Typical office hours are 8a-5p but this can be flexible upon the physicians request
~ Strong interest in quality improvement
~ Opportunity to be involved in clinical teaching and medical student education through IU School of Medicine Fort Wayne

Current plan is to staff a comprehensive team of 2 advanced practice providers, 2 registered nurses and 2 diabetes educators to support the physician in providing care for children with diabetes , thyroid and endocrine disorders
Thriving Adult Endocrinology Program with 4 adult endocrinologists and 4 advanced practice providers who are eager to collaborate and engage with pediatric endocrinology to facilitate the pediatric to adult transition
Parkview Healths Enterprise Diabetes Program
A robust Enterprise Diabetes Program , headed by a Director and Medical Director
Dedicated inpatient and outpatient diabetes education program
Integrated Epic platform and diabetes clinical registry
Glucommander insulin management and surveillance program implemented throughout the Parkview Hospital system
Ambulatory clinical pharmacy program embedded in primary care
Parkview Womens and Childrens Hospital
Located at the campus, with 97 beds dedicated to Womens and Childrens care: 40 Family Birthing, 34 NICU, 16 Pediatrics and 7 PICU
