Ready to make a positive impact on patients' lives in a Long Term Care and Rehab facility? The Chateau at Brooklyn is in search of a skilled Registered Dietitian to become part of their vibrant team. This 189-bed center needs a dedicated and enthusiastic RD to oversee the nutrition requirements of short term, long term, Palliative Care, and feeding tube residents while catering to the diverse health-care needs of the community.

Responsibilities as a Registered Dietitian (RD):

Conduct nutritional assessments for residents
Offer nutrition counseling and education to residents and families
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for optimal resident care
Utilize knowledge of the Nutrition Care Process
Demonstrate problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Organize clinical nutrition and patient care efficiently
Flexibility to work holidays and weekends

Requirements:

Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Eligible (with DI Verification Statement)
Experience with enteral nutrition
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of state survey process and nutrition care regulations is a plus

Desired Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal communication skills
Effective time management abilities and teamwork

Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000 per year
