    Job Description

    Cricut is looking for a PR Coordinator who will be a strong addition to our Brand Marketing & Integrated Communications team. As the PR Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the PR program, which is designed to drive awareness and familiarity of the Cricut brand and its ecosystem of products. This role will report to the PR Manager and work with cross-functional marketing team members, including Product Marketing, Sales, and E-Commerce, as well as external media relations agencies.

    Qualifications

    The right person for this role should have:

    • 1-3 years of product PR and corporate communications experience, including experience in an agency and with integrated marketing campaigns (be ready to provide examples)
    • Knowledge of the media landscape (especially lifestyle and retail; business and tech trade is a plus) and experience with coverage monitoring and opportunities, as well as media moves
    • A clear, successful track record of working with media contacts and securing placements
    • Excellent writing and editing skills for the development of media materials, messaging, and blog content
    • A pulse on current trends/pop cultural events and understanding of how to tie back to Cricut
    • A general understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.), influencer relations, and digital marketing, and how they support communications programs
    • A general understanding and/or interest in securing and managing national and local broadcast segments, including talent sourcing & media training and crafting messaging
    • Strong project management and interpersonal skills; ability to juggle multiple projects at one time and self-prioritize workload
    • Ability to collaborate with and influence diverse groups, including cross-functional peers and company leadership
    • Understanding of media and analytics tools (i.e., MuckRack, Google Analytics, and Google Trends), and a keen ability to analyze and report KPIs to inform program improvements
    • Experience working with MS Office, Airtable, and Google Suite
    • Proven track record of program management, execution, and reporting
    • Degree or relevant experience in communications, journalism, public relations, or marketing
    • Willingness to travel for events as needed

    BONUS:

    • Experience developing and executing campaigns across international regions, including coordination of global partners and management of localized materials and messaging
    • Experience with executive platform development
